In it’s simplest form Visitel offers:

• Accept simple manual data entry by the user (e.g. Name, company, work location, works no, visit sponsor etc).
• Store the inputted data.
• Following the entry of data into key fields, look up additional data from an onboard database.
• Print a badge.
• Can use pre printed stock with Health & Safety information on the reverse, company info etc.

For more demanding applications Visitel can include:

• Accept uploaded data via serial/USB/network ports in standard formats (Excel, Access, dBase etc) for comparison with entered details.
• Accept remote validation via a network connection.
• Accept validation via touch tone through a standard telephone network
• Take a photo of the user.
• Copy the user photo to a database.
• Print the photo on the chosen medium.
• Produce plastic card badges to carry or fit into a clear wallet.
• Produce fabric badges with low tack adhesive on reverse.
• Encode a magnetic stripe.
• Generate a bar code (inc 3D).
• Interface with proprietary access control equipment.
