Colchester General Hospital

With Drax's help, CHUFT upgrades it's fire detection and alarm control equipment to Kentec's latest Syncro analogue addressable panels. Primarily to enable the Trust to benefit from the latest technology available for the Apollo Fire Detectors Discovery range including reducing unwanted fire signals, loop powered beacons and sounder technologies. Guys & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust
can now manage and view the maintenance activities undertaken by it's fire alarm maintenance contractor on line using Drax's innovative new IRIS service management tool which is entirely web based. Work orders are allocated using a browser based tools which are then sent electronically to the field technician. Once the work is completed, the technician completes a 'soft' copy docket for signature by the customer. Completed service calls are viewable on-line as are a range of reports enabling the customer to check on progress and performance against SLA's. Read more:

System extension in occupied premises

After a competitive selection process, Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer LLP chose Drax to upgrade their fire detection and alarm system at their prestigeous Fleet Street offices in London.
