CONNECT AMX1 INTEGRATED SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY

The Powerful, Bespoke Approach To Systems Integration

A modern building is full of separate stand-alone systems: fire detection; security; lighting; plant. Many require time consuming, demanding and expensive individual monitoring and control.

AMX1 from Drax can integrate existing standalone systems into one easily manageable, convenient and simply controlled system - without compromising individual system integrity. Even equipment from different manufacturers, subject to protocol release.

By fully integrating systems and centralising both control and monitoring, integrated systems technology delivers greater safety, security and efficiency, can reduce staff costs and training requirements as well as providing improved data throughput and audit trails.

End users often choose to have the available information presented in graphical and textural form using a Drax AMX1 graphical user interface. Click here to view sample screen shots or here to see the demo (opens in a new window - flash required).

AMX1 also greatly simplifies the implementation of integrated and co-ordinated systems procedures and strategies both on one site and across sites as required. See Example 1 and Example 2.

AMX1 - The Ideal Integrated Systems Solution for:

  • Hospitals
  • Universities
  • Prisons
  • Hotels
  • Offices
  • Airports
  • Factories
  • Museums
  • Military Establishments
  • Commercial Premises
  • Industrial Sites
  • (and more)

The AMX1 Solution
Based on a Windows™ platform, AMX1™ is the most flexible alarm management system available today. It can be configured to interface with virtually any modern or legacy system and to provide precisely the management and control facilities required - no matter what the application, subject to protocol release.

With the advanced AMX1 controller at its heart, AMX1™ can integrate in excess of one million inputs from external networks and substations, integrating, controlling and monitoring almost every conceivable type of system found in a building including, subject to protocol release:

  • Security Systems
  • Fire Detection Systems
  • Fire Extinguishing Systems
  • Medical Alarms
  • Emergency Alarms
  • Heating and Ventilation
  • Critical Plant Alarms
  • Effluent Monitoring Systems
  • Engineering Systems

AMX1 - Power and Flexibility
AMX1 includes a host of advanced features, offering users a system that's powerful and truly comprehensive, and yet uniquely flexible and easy for staff to use. All the information required, all the control needed, is literally at the user's fingertips. AMX1 not only delivers alarm information, it also records other system events and faults, allowing the generation of detailed reports.

The system has a massive History archive with report generation and event analysis features that can be used as part of a false alarm reduction strategy.

Several AMX1s can be connected together in an "AMX Group" for larger sites or when multiple workstation capability is required.
